The IMPULSE IXMR3 MKII is a 3-inch car audio midrange driver engineered to reproduce vocals and instruments with a warm, clear, and natural character. This improved MKII version delivers refined sound quality while maintaining the excellent value of the X Series family.
Its composite paper cone provides an ideal balance of low mass, rigidity, and natural resonance control. This enables fast transient response, full-bodied vocals, and clearly defined instrument details. The newly developed silk surround keeps cone movement smooth and controlled, helping the driver maintain a clean tonal balance across its operating range.
A reinforced steel basket provides a rigid and stable foundation, while the powerful ferrite magnet supports consistent, dynamic performance at higher listening levels.
With a frequency range of 120 Hz–5 kHz, the IXMR3 MKII is ideal for three-way car audio systems and custom installations. When integrated with the correct crossover settings, it delivers focused vocals, a more realistic soundstage, and a seamless transition between the woofer and tweeter.
