Combining a powerful 6.5-inch midbass driver with a refined 28 mm silk-dome tweeter, it delivers deep, controlled midbass, natural vocals, and smooth high-frequency detail.
The midbass driver features a lightweight fiber-composite cone for fast, accurate response, supported by a durable rubber surround and a rigid die-cast basket. Its powerful ferrite magnet provides stable performance and strong dynamic impact, even at higher listening levels.
High frequencies are reproduced by a specially coated 28 mm German silk-dome diaphragm. A neodymium magnet, elevated rear chamber, and solid aluminium housing help create an open, detailed sound with excellent control and reduced harshness. Gold-plated cable terminals ensure a secure, high-quality connection, while the included protective grille helps guard the tweeter during installation and everyday use.
Available in two configurations, the IMP Reference Series can suit both straightforward upgrades and fully customized audio systems:
- With passive crossover — a convenient, carefully integrated solution for conventional installations.
- Without passive crossover — ideal for active systems using a DSP or multi-channel amplifier, giving the installer greater control over crossover points, levels, phase, and time alignment.
